An Honest Temu Review (Not Sponsored)
There are so many Temu "reviews" and unboxing videos here on RUclips and on Instagram/TikTok. But most of them are sponsored, so you can't trust them. Even big channels like Unbox Therapy took Temu's money to shill their junk.
Here's a real (unsponsored) try-on and review, mostly of Temu's menswear offerings, with a few EDC/accessories sprinkled in for good measure.
Spoiler: it sucks

Huckberry Review & Try-On (Flint and Tinder, Proof, Greys and MORE)
You aren't dressed like someone who should be giving men any kind of advice on what to wear.
I know what's in your closet...
Real working blokes buy their boots for comfort because we’re in em’ all day working, not trying to make a gay fashion statement.
What is the fvcking point of a pocket square, it's stupid, style for the sake of style.
Athletic gear is fine if you are at a sports event. Outside of context they just go to show that a person is overly obsessed with sports.
advertisement for consumerism
#11 - Bowties
I think baseball caps are also overly worn by men over 30. It's okay at the game, but should be set aside for most casual events where you want to be taken seriously or mature and confident...even if you're losing your hair. Bald is more attractive.
Hmm...I think the guy at 4:15 looks pretty good in a v-neck. In the crew neck he could pass for the janitorial staff.
Who are you again?
Hysterical.
Made the mistake working graveyard shift in lounge trousers, no interaction with outside people so no harm no foul but still got laughed at by coworkers. Touche
I'm not sure how I got here... but... really? Better than everyone else because you are wearing a Rolex? I don't even know how to respond to that other than: see ya'.
If a guy just feels more comfortable in shorts that cover his knees and doesn’t care that other guys wear shorter shorts, that’s fine by me. But many if not most guys who call you gay for wearing short shorts will also call you gay for being well groomed and smelling good and their opinions should be ignored.
all points are valid
I'm at a stage in life where a utilitarian haircut works for me. I've lost quite a bit of hair so a crew cut is just fine. I like my appearance to be simple and functional and to not draw attention to myself. Because of age, genetics, fluid retention and arthritis after years of walking and biking I can't walk for miles anymore and burn calories as I used to. The 30-inch waist is gone for good and I hate what has happened to my body an d how it looks, but I have to live with it. With all that and with small shoulders; a long torso and fairly short legs (at least the legs still look good!) and a thick midsection, clothes don't fit me well. The best I can do is be neat, simple, modest and inconspicuous in appearance.
I like the different options, but this goes too fast. I hope there's a longer version of this video.
I don't play or watch sports. I once heard the wife of a two-time Super Bowl player say, "It's just chasing a ball around". I am baffled as to why chasing, throwing, bouncing, hitting a ball or puck; sliding down a hill on pieces of wood, etc. gets people so worked up and they say the athletes are heroes. I believe in taking good care of our bodies, but not elevating athletics to idolatry or making a career out of it. -- One style that ran its course, hopefully forever, is the open shirt showing chains and chest hair that was popular in the late 70's when I was becoming an adult. That look was pathetic. -- For myself I like solid colors for simple clothes that don't draw attention to myself though I do like cargo shorts as they come in handy for me: I can take a variety of things with me yet not have to carry or wear something that contains them.
Gross. you guys are such marks, if you actually believe that nonsense, basically any of it. okay they "kicked off a craze" aka a fad. but shoes like this have been popular before the creators of that brand were born. so that's quite a claim. then to claim they are somehow "the" sneaker, I guess because a bunch of under educated youths are obsessed with them, despite having no marketing is frankly absurd. Just because they're not wasting money on advertisements doesn't mean they are not doing marketing. advertisements are the dumb money in the current day and age when it comes to marketing. Clearly they are marketing their products, it's self evident based on the result. this is like the nonsense thats tesla cult members claim "tesla doesn't spend a cent on advertising" then you read their 10k filing every year and see that they in fact are spending 40m a year on marketing, none of it via advertising. because advertising isn't how it's done in the social media age. I find it gross honestly. this fad makes me want to throw out my Danish sneakers that have been in production since before common sheep founders were born because by wearing them I now look like "one of those." gross.
nice topic.thank you
5:22 is an amazing easter egg because he’s being vulnerable with the viewer when he explains that
In the trucking industry just take a look around on top of body odors
Hair dye IS bad for you (7.48)...toxic chemicals and many people are allergic to it. Also, men shouldn't color their hair in most cases....always obvious.
Perfect video
OCBD + Shetland Sweater + Sport Coat (optional) = Master Race!
I’ll pick the Stan Smith every time. Especially the Lux variant - well priced, comfortable, real leather, and I get to take advantage of affordable pricing given Adidas’ scale and supply chain advantage.
This was a great video lol.
Love the pre-emptive caveat, but dude, wtf are you wearing?
Looks like you have your dads clothes on 🤣
I just wore my Chillums to the store today, they're one of my many barefoot shoes! I made the jump last year instead of confining myself to a life in supportive shoes and orthotics (I overpronate), and I couldn't be happier. It took time and work and change to transition, but I can now walk without overpronating and without joint pain. Turns out overpronation is just bad mechanics and mechanics can be changed. Education is way more important than the shoes themselves. Along with that, my toes are spreading out a bit, my feet are getting stronger, my achilles aren't tight anymore since they're at their full length, my leg muscles are more defined, my anterior pelvic tilt is gone and my hips are back to a neutral state, running is actually kinda fun (something I hadn't done in years), the benefits are numerous. The Chillums are the thickest shoes I have, and I wear them without the insole. My other shoes are like 3-6mm thick. I find it hard to call regular shoes "comfortable" since they can do so much harm to us. I could wear barefoot shoes 24/7 because they're meant to stay out of the way. If your feet hurt in barefoot shoes, they're going to feel the same whether the shoes are on or off because it's the ground that's hurting them. Pain could also be due to bad form, as doing something wrong is very noticeable in minimal shoes. If your feet hurt in "comfortable" shoes, which they probably will eventually, then it's the shoes that are hurting you.
Codpieces are making a comeback!
Sponsored by Rolex!!??!!
I have a black oxford button down shirt that gets occasional use mainly used when I put together a grey/black kind of outfit but never involves a suit.
I think I agree with everything except the hey dudes! What’s wrong with them? Lol
I have to say, I was steeling myself when I started to watch because I knew you'd be wrong about nearly everything. And then I watched. And you're literally right about all 10. Thanks. I despise those white-soled dress shoes with the white hot passion of a thousand suns. I might add glued suits, distressed or pre-ripped jeans, and giant collars that make you look like you've been in a terrible car accident.
Who pays $600 for a bag
Any opinions on Uniform Standard? The Koio and OCs look pretty narrow
Who takes advice from a fake Fonzie? in a nasty brown shirt. Brands are for poor people who pretend to be rich

Sorry for asking, Brock. Would you recommend a safari jacket/overshirt or a chore coat for summer days? What is more formal/versatile? Thanks you in advance for for replies!
I like chore coats because they're more casual. Safari jackets are a statement piece!
nothing simply nothing is more stylish than a Piano Key Tie you can thank me later
I agree with everything except the homage watches. 95+ percent of people you meet will never even notice your watch, and another 4.9% wouldnt even know different watch models enough to tell them apart, especially from a distance... and for the VERY few who can, theyre not gonna be fooled into thinking a guy in a hoodie and jeans driving a 15 year old Buick is wearing a Rolex. The number of people who even COULD convincingly use these to decieve people is probably even smaller than the group it would decieve. Most people buying homages are because we're watch geeks that love the look of a certain watch but will never be able to afford it, and have moral qualms about literal fakes. I, for example, own 3 homages and have never once had anyone ask if they were the Rolexes or Omega theyre modeled after, nor can i imagine anyone has ever felt inclined to. I just liked the look and refused to buy fakes. Do I wish they were the expensive version? Sure. But 6 figures in student debt and working in the charity sector means that's not in the cards for me, and the fact that a prestige company that charges 5-figures for a watch most people couldn't buy even if they had the money thought of a design first doesn't mean someone like me shouldn't be able to enjoy a similar look.
I spent a bit more on a commuter backpack from Patagonia that ended up being a huge upgrade over the one I'd been using. I initially bought it because I needed a second bag on the way back from a trip to Portland (probably not the worst place to be shopping for a bag). It's been a gamechanger. I'm feeling like I should throw my old one out, but I'm struggling to part with it. Also, I sprung for some Sony xm4 over ear headphones a couple years ago and they've been magical. Not top of the line or anything audiophiles would think too much of, but they're really comfortable and being able to stay connected to multiple devices is really nice. The carrying case doesn't hurt, either. They fold up nicely and the case provides a safe, snug, permanent place in that backpack I purchased.
2:05 eh. I'm going to say BS on this one. e.g. Seiko Prospex vs Rolex Daytona Panda variants. The Prospex Panda is a good looking, well-made watch. It's an homage, but I would never spend on a Rolex anyway and the Seiko will hold its modest value. Maybe this isn't what you were thinking of when you made this part of your list, but worth noting.
Muscle is top 1 thing Men Shouldn't Wear in 2024 because the condition of young people is currently tragic
I'm late to the party, but this is your best video.
I am 6'2 and find 7" too long and 5" too short. Too bad they don't ever make 6" inseams
I have my own style that I have been developing for the past few years. The advice that I definitely follow more as I grow is to buy clothes that will last longer. I used to thrift much more than I do now, but I still frequent thrift stores a lot. Recently, I try to buy shirts from nice men's stores when they go on sale. There is usually a nice one for a good price. A few problems that I still have is that, sometimes I still like to wear gym shorts for running errands, especially when it is hot out. I also wear athletic shoes for all purposes--I never knew that was a sign of poor dress! What!? lol. A part of my personal style is to wear jeans or comfortable shorts(occasionally, yes cargo or loose fit), designer shirts, and athletic shoes! I know it is subjective, so what should I do to avoid these being bad combinations?
What I'd put on the "Ban-List" additionaly Skinny-Jeans for Men/combined with some of this Socks-Lookalike-Sneakers even worse in my book. Glittery clothing or - I can't even belive I have to write this - make-up for men. Unless you are an actor in some Musical Show. Overly accurate trimmed beard with razor-sharp edges and pattern in it.
I really enjoy black dress shirts with brown or grey chinos for business casual.
There's nothing wrong with decent cargo shorts or fans dressing up in their favorite team's outfit for a game.
